NEWS BRIEF - December 2007
Sundance Video shot the Hans Klok Beauty of Magic show featuring Pamela Anderson in the week prior to closing on December 8th. The Hans Klok show is preparing quickly now for a European tour beginning early in April, 2008. The show will be longer than the Las Vegas show and will play large showrooms and stadiums throughout Europe, beginning in Berlin. The new show will be directed and choreographed by Gail Davies, who also choreographed and co-directed in Las Vegas.
Sundance Video is preparing a 3 camera edit of the Las Vegas show. The show is beautifully lit and presented no problems in looking good on camera. We shot two shows, ultimately having six good angles to work from on the edit. The three camera operators are all well versed in show business which aided them in capturing the moments. Gail Davies herself lended her gifted eye to operate a camera feeling that she knew what she wanted to see not only from Hans, but from her dancers as well. Joanie Spina is of course a show biz veteran and well respected worldwide for her magic consultation. Buzz Wolfe, owner of Sundance Video, operated the third camera, and directed the shoot.
Everything went smoothly on the shoot, and now it is being whittled down to the best segments for the full show, 3 camera edit.
NEWS BRIEF - Fall 2007
Sundance Video has just upgraded hardware and software to be HD ready and flash ready. Now capable of Editing and encoding Hi-Def footage for commercials, infomercials, and promos. Footage can be shot in HD now, edited in Standard definition for the moment and at a later time, go back and re-edit into HD. Software has been updated for the latest web delivery formats, DVD encodings in standard DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray DVD. Web pages can now play the video, and at programmmed points along the way, pull up still photos, text or even other web pages as it is now capable of interactivity. The possibilities are just beginning for what is now possible for web delivery of video content.
